1) сущ. ялик, ял, – лодка по своим размерам меньше, чем полубарказы и имеющая более острые обводы. Применяются для различных целей, в основном при швартовках. 2) сущ. йол – небольшое (водоизмещением до 10 т) парусное двухмачтовое промысловое судно, вооружёнными косыми парусами; меньшая бизань-мачта стоит позади руля.
